On June 2, 2025, the Provincial Government of Lanao del Sur, through the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist, successfully conducted a Training on Rice Production through PalayCheck and Smart Farming Strategies in Brgy. Rantian, Ditsa-an Ramain. A total of 30 dedicated rice farmers participated in the activity, which focused on enhancing their skills in Identifying Pests and Diseases and conducting Cost and Returns Analysis.

To make the training more practical and impactful, participants were brought to their actual rice fields, where they could apply the lessons directly on-site. This hands-on approach made it easier for farmers to understand and adopt best practices under real farming conditions. This initiative is part of the provincial government’s ongoing commitment to promote sustainable and productive rice farming by bringing education and innovation straight to our farmers’ fields.
