Provincial Information Officer Salma Jayne Alonto Tamano met today with Ms. Judee Caroline D. Chaves, Mindanao Relations Head, Public Engagement Group, and Ms. Kimmy Namocatcat, Stakeholder Management Specialist, Public Engagement Group of PLDT and Smart Communications to plan for a free in-depth training on Artificial Intelligence for key personnel of critical departments and offices of the Provincial Government of Lanao del Sur.

This free training will be led and facilitated by PLDT and Smart Communications, the country’s leading integrated telecommunications network.

Artificial Intelligence can offer significant benefits to the PLGU-Lanao del Sur across various sectors, enhancing efficiency, transparency, and service delivery with focus on information dissemination, governance and public administration, public security and safety, economic development, health and social services, disaster risk reduction and management, agriculture and fisheries, environmental protection, education, and tourism development.
