Presided over by Shaminoden M. Sambitory, the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer, the meeting brought together key representatives from various provincial offices to assess recent project developments and align future strategies.
Topics discussed included follow-up actions from the previous meetings, updates on the remaining goals under the EU-UNICEF project, and how these can support the plans of the province for 2025 to 2026. The group also talked about the sustainability plan for the Child-Friendly Local Governance Audit (CFLGA) initiatives to continually increase the number of child-friendly LGUs. The format and tasks per office for the next Project Implementation Committee (PIC) meeting were initially discussed that it becomes a venue to showcase project milestones and encourage the replication of strategic implementation models.
