Today, a total of 600 farmers received P5,000 each from AICS Funds of Senator Christopher “Bong” Go in partnership with the Provincial Government of Lanao del Sur. The said beneficiaries came from the Municipalities of Wao, Amai Manabilang, Madalum, and Ditsaan-Ramain. Held at the Capitol Gymnasium, the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) facilitated the said program. Representing Governor Mamintal “Bombit” Alonto Adiong Jr. is BM Ringo Usman Gandamra.

This initiative aims to provide immediate financial support to farmers affected by recent challenges in the agricultural sector. Local officials expressed their gratitude for the assistance, emphasizing its importance in helping families regain their footing. Many farmers shared their plans to use the funds for essential supplies and equipment needed for the upcoming planting season. The program is part of a broader effort to enhance food security and improve the livelihoods of rural communities in the province.
