Members of the Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) and the Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC) gathered this afternoon for their first quarterly joint meeting of 2025 at the Social Hall of the New Capitol Complex in Marawi City.

Presided over by Board Member Ringo Usman Gandamra, the agenda included discussions on the current peace and order situation, updates on security preparations for the upcoming national and local elections in Lanao del Sur, and the submission of reports by Municipal Peace and Order Councils (MPOCs) regarding MILG Memorandum No. 041, series of 2025, which addresses the response mechanism for election-related violence and other peace and order issues. Additionally, the meeting covered the drug situation in Lanao del Sur, as presented by the Lanao del Sur Provincial Police Office (LDSPPO), as well as the introduction of new PADAC members and the secretariat.
