Marawi City, July 10, 2025 – The Provincial Mining Regulatory Board (PMRB) convened at the Provincial Engineer’s Office (PEO) Conference Room, New Capitol today for the review of the draft of the manual of operations that will be applied to run the mining sector of the province of Lanao del Sur.
The assembly was chaired by the Provincial Environment, Natural Resources and Energy (PENRE) Officer Forester Asmarie M. Labao, MPA, who facilitated the smooth flow of the discussion, guiding the body through the agenda and clarifying the duties and functions of the members of the board. It was further highlighted by the participation of the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Officer Forester Pili M. Papandayan, the Provincial Legal Officer Atty. Faisal Cali, Small-Scale Mining Representative Engr. H. Sharief Manumbilao Magondacan, NGO Representative Musa Diamla, and representatives from the Assessor Office.
The board deliberated the presentation of approval resolution on the adoption of Manual of Operations (MOP), creation of the Technical Working Group (TWG) members, and the capacity training for PMRB and TWG.
