The National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) invited the Provincial Government of Lanao del Sur to the 127th Philippine Independence Day Celebration at the Quirino Grandstand, Manila on June 12, 2025. It was attended by President Bongbong Marcos, members of his cabinet, and members of the diplomatic corp.

Representing Governor Mamintal Bombit Adiong, Jr. were Provincial Information Officer Salma Jayne Tamano, Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Officer Forester Pili Papandayan, and employees of the Lanao del Sur Tourism Public Information headed by Ahmad Nouraldinn Tamano Jr.

The Ministry of Trade, Investments and Tourism – BARMM was present with Director General Ross Alonto-Sinarimbo leading their team.
