Marawi City, July 7, 2025 – The Project Coordination Unit (PCU) of the European Union- UNICEF co-funded project “Building Community Resilience and Delivering Essential Services for Post-Conflict Recovery in Lanao del Sur and Marawi City” held its 7th coordination meeting at the PEO Conference Room, New Capitol Complex.
The meeting aimed to finalize preparations for the upcoming culminating event of the European Union-funded project on Building Community Resilience and Delivering Essential Services for Post-Conflict Recovery in Lanao del Sur and Marawi City, which is scheduled on July 17, 2025.
Representatives from key offices participated in the meeting, including the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, Provincial Information Office, Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, Provincial Planning and Development Office, Lanao People’s Park Library, Ranaw Youth Development Office, Integrated Provincial Health Office, and MBHTE – Lanao del Sur I and II.
Ms. Maya Rani Devero, Project Coordinator for this Action facilitated the meeting, ensuring a smooth and organized discussion. Together with PDRRMO Robroy Macarambon, the participants were ran through the agenda and clarified the specific roles and responsibilities of each office in relation to the upcoming activity.
Discussions focused on essential program and logistical components of the culminating event. These included finalizing the guest list, confirming the program flow, organizing gallery displays such as monitors and rolling photo/video presentations, planning for food and materials distribution, and coordinating security protocols, parking arrangements, and the overall setup of the Social Hall.
Preparations remain ongoing as the PCU continues to work closely to ensure a meaningful and well-organized event that reflects the accomplishments of the European Union-funded project in the province.
