Vision

To promote the province of Lanao del sur become the leading food basket among the component provinces of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

Mission

To mobilize the rural population towards self-reliant communities and transform into a productive and better rural citizenry by helping rural families, including the farmers, the homemakers the rural youth and the fisher folk maximize their farm resources into viable opportunities for sustained agricultural growth.

Mandate

Pursuant to local Government code of 1991 the office of the Provincial Agriculturist is mandated to provide technical assistance and trainings to farmers through appropriate technology transfer and such other interventions necessary to improve the standard living of farm families.

Goals

To develop the agricultural potentials of the province and promote livelihood programs and other economic activities that will enhance the quality of life of the rural population of Lanao del Sur. THEREBY, improve the standard of living of our farm families particularly the marginal small farmers in the area to become more productive and better citizens in their communities.
