The Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPAG) commenced validating DA-PhilMech farm machinery beneficiaries on July 7, 2025, in the municipalities of Ditsaan-Ramain and Bubong.

As part of the activity, OPAG staff paid courtesy visits to Ditsaan-Ramain Mayor Ansaruddin “Hooky” Alonto Adiong and Bubong Administrative Officer Jamal Manua to coordinate the implementation of the program.

The validation aims to identify rice farm cooperatives that meet the qualifications set by DA-PhilMech to receive rice farm machinery assistance. In addition, OPAG is also validating beneficiaries of ram pump and solar-powered pump irrigation systems, as well as facilitating the clearing and rehabilitation of irrigation canals—efforts that are part of a broader initiative to improve irrigation and support services for farmers.

Validation activities are scheduled to continue in other municipalities in the coming days.
