Members of the Provincial Committee on Anti-Trafficking and Violence Against Women and their Children (PCAT-VAWC) and Provincial Council for the Protection of Children (PCPC), convened for its 1st quarter joint meeting held on March 24, 2025 at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Session Hall, aimed at reinforcing the province’s commitment to safeguarding the rights and welfare of women and children.

Presided over by Vice Governor Mohammad Khalid “Mujam” Raki-in Adiong, the meeting brought together key stakeholders from various government agencies, law enforcement, civil society organizations, and local government representatives.

OIC-Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer Monaima Adiong emphasized the need for a stronger multi-sectoral approach. “We must not only raise awareness but also ensure access to justice, protection, and support services for survivors,” she stated.

The Provincial Government continues to call on all sectors to be vigilant and proactive in preventing violence and supporting victims.
