The Provincial Government of Lanao del Sur (PLGU-LDS) convened its first meeting of the Local Health Board on February 27, 2025, in the PEO Conference Room, and was presided by LDS Provincial Health Officer Dr. Princess Elham Sacar. Attendees included members from both the public and private sectors.

The meeting’s agenda addressed several key topics, including the status of various programs and ordinances, the current state of Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), mental health challenges, the implementation progress of the Konsulta Program in Lanao del Sur, and a presentation on the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) situation in the province.
