The Provincial Government of Lanao del Sur, through the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (PLGU-OPAg), proudly supported and assisted students from the Mindanao State University – Main Campus, College of Agriculture, who are active members of the 4-H Club Lanao del Sur, in their participation at the 4-H Regional Youth Camp 2025 – BARMM. The event took place from May 25 to 27, 2025, at the DA-ATI RTC XII in Barangay San Felipe, Tantangan, South Cotabato, under the theme: “HARVEST through the 4-H Milestone: Harnessing Agricultural Resilience through Vision, Education, Sustainability, and Technology.”

The regional camp brought together youth participants from the provinces of Lanao del Sur, Maguindanao del Sur, and Maguindanao del Norte, showcasing the talent and commitment of young agricultural leaders across the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM). In addition to the competitions, the camp featured meaningful 4-H traditions, including the Candle Lighting Ceremony, which symbolizes the values of Head, Heart, Hands, and Health. This ceremony served as a platform to honor the youth’s leadership, service, and role in promoting sustainable agriculture and community development.

Throughout the camp, the participants from Lanao del Sur exhibited remarkable performance, ultimately earning them the title of “Overall Champion.” They also secured top awards in several categories, including the On-the-Spot Photography Contest, Party Quiz, Promotional Video Making, and Most Outstanding 4-H Member.

As a result of their success in these categories, the members of the 4-H Club Lanao del Sur have earned the opportunity to participate in the upcoming National 4-H Youth Camp, specifically in the events where they excelled during the regional level.

The Provincial Government extends its heartfelt congratulations to the youth of Lanao del Sur for their outstanding achievements and expresses its full support as they take this next step in showcasing the potential and excellence of Bangsamoro youth in the field of agriculture at the national level.
