Alhamdulillah! The inauguration and ribbon-cutting ceremony of the newly established People’s Television – Marawi Regional Network building took place earlier today within the Provincial Capitol Compound. The event was graced by Governor Mamintal “Bombit” Alonto Adiong Jr., Vice Governor Mohammad Khalid “Mujam” Raki-in Adiong, Marawi City Mayor Majul Gandamra, Capitol Head of Offices, CSOs, line agencies, and security sector.

In his welcome address, Vice Governor Mujam expressed his delight at the establishment of a significant media outlet in the province. He stated that this development would help combat fake news and unverified information.

Governor Adiong, in his message, highlighted the honor of having such a facility. “It is a great honor for me, as the Governor of Lanao del Sur, to participate in the historic inauguration of the PTV Marawi Regional Center. This is a milestone for our province—not only in the realm of media and communication but also in providing a broader platform for the voices of the people of Lanao del Sur and the entire Bangsamoro region to be heard,” he said.

1st District Representative Ziaur-Rahman “Zia” Alonto Adiong also shared a message of support through a recorded video.

An Audio Visual Presentation was showcased to inform attendees about the historical journey of the PTV Marawi Regional Center.

Additionally, Mayor Majul Gandamra and PTV General Manager Atty. Robert Doller delivered messages to those present at the event.
