As part of the ongoing Mozhor so Kawiayagan sa Ranao (MKRA) program of the Provincial Government of Lanao del Sur – Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPAg), the office conducted the Digital Farmers Program 101 & 102 training in Barangay Ilian, Taraka, Lanao del Sur, on May 28, 2025, with 30 participants. This activity aimed to introduce local farmers to the digital world by teaching them basic photography and how to create a social media marketing plan.

Through this training, farmers were introduced to the potential of digital tools—including social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram, e-commerce, and agricultural apps—not just as means of communication, but as powerful avenues for growth. This initiative is a significant step toward connecting rural communities to the digital economy and empowering farmers to succeed in an increasingly digital world.
