Members of the Lanao del Sur Local Health Board (LHB), presided over by Dr. Alinader Minalang of the Integrated Provincial Health Office, convened earlier today at the Social Hall of the Provincial Capitol to talk about the overview and status of monkeypox (MPOX) in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

In line with the continued effort of the LHB in its aim to provide a high-quality and standard level of health care towards all constituents of the province, the body underscored its full support towards the implementation of mpox prevention measures.

In his message, Dr. Minalang emphasized the importance of collaboration between and among concerned offices such as IPHO and the Provincial Information Office, along with its component local information offices, to strengthen the regular immunization of vaccines at the community level.
