Members of the Local Health Board (LHB) of Lanao del Sur, presided over by Dr. Alinader Minalang of the Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO), convened this morning at the Meeting Room of the Provincial Engineer’s Office.

Mr. Alitaher Lucman of the Ministry of Interior and Local Government (MILG) presented the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) 2024 Health Compliance and Responsiveness Assessment. He said the indicators are to measure the functionality of LGUs in terms of health. He responded to the board’s inquiries on devolution of health services, data on population, and the childhood immunization program, among others.

Updates on the status of nutrition and Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) were further discussed, emphasizing food security, logistic support, capacity-building training, and disaster risk reduction and management in health (DRRMH) plans.
