The BAYI Power Summit took place on February 24-25, 2025, at the Quezon City Meetings, Incentives, Conference & Exhibits (M.I.C.E.) Center. This event aimed to strengthen feminist leadership in the Philippines by bringing together a network of fellows, showcasing impactful initiatives through the Likhang Bayi proposals, launching a feminist leadership network, and developing recommendations to enhance the role of women leaders in the lead-up to the 2025 and 2026 elections.
The BAYI Power Summit 2025 provided a two-day immersive experience that united feminist leaders, advocates, and allies to celebrate collective action, leadership, and transformative change. Participants engaged in dynamic discussions, creative interludes, and interactive workshops designed to inspire, connect, and mobilize.
Another highlight of the event was the launch of the BAYI Feminist Leadership Network—a vibrant hub for women leaders, civil servants, and young changemakers empowered by the 7Cs to collaborate, mentor, learn, and amplify their impactful work.
Among the participants from Lanao del Sur were Prof. Norkaya Mohammad of the Al Mujadillah Women’s Association, Pinolie Guro, Municipal Budget Officer of Binidayan, Provincial Information Officer Salma Jayne Tamano, and Maguing Youth Development Officer Norain Mohammad.
