Earlier, the Barangay Chairperson from the City of Puerto Princesa, Palawan, paid a courtesy visit to Governor Mamintal “Bombit” Alonto Adiong Jr. at the Capitol Guest House, Marawi City, as part of their benchmarking activity from June 23-26, 2025. They were also warmly welcomed by several heads of offices and staff in the Capitol.

During the meeting, they discussed various local governance strategies and shared best practices that could enhance community development. The Chairperson expressed admiration for the Governor’s initiatives in promoting peace and order in the region.

This visit marks a significant step towards strengthening ties between the two local governments.
