On March 9, 2025, Governor Mamintal “Bombit” Alonto Adiong Jr. and BGen. Billy O. Dela Rosa, Brigade Commander of the 103rd Brigade, 1st Infantry Division of the Philippine Army, led one of the largest rido settlements, in the province of Lanao del Sur.

The rido settlement and reconciliation involved Commander Delta of Task Force Sallam and several families from Barangay Kalilangan and Barangay Lalabuan in the municipality of Balabagan, Lanao del Sur.

Also in attendance were Vice Governor Mohammad Khalid “Mujam” Raki-in Adiong, PBGen. Romeo Macapaz, Regional Director of the PRO BAR, along with PCol. Robert Daculan, Provincial Director of the LDS PPO, who witnessed the settlement of rido.

The successful settlement was made possible through the efforts and initiatives of local government officials, community leaders, and security forces in Lanao del Sur.

The event was further witnessed by other local government officials of the province, religious leaders, stakeholders, and additional security forces from the province.

Indeed, this holy month of Ramadan is a time of miracles, peace, and forgiveness.
