A meeting between the United Nations Development Program Philippines, represented by Mr. Ricardo E. Torres Jr. and the Provincial Government of Lanao del Sur on the preparations for the installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems in the Tamparan Provincial Hospital, Wao District Hospital, Dr. Serapio B. Montañer Jr. Al-Haj Memorial Hospital in Malabang, and the Provincial Infirmary inside the Provincial Capitol was held yesterday in Marawi City.

Said endeavor is under the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Access for Health Services (RE3ACHS) project, a collaborative initiative between the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Government of Japan with the Province of Lanao del Sur as the beneficiary. It aims to improve healthcare services in public health facilities in the province through renewable energy solutions.

UNDP Philippines was represented by Project Manager Mr. Ricardo E. Torres Jr. and Ms. Jerhana Dagalangit, while the Provincial Government of Lanao del Sur was represented by Forester Pili M. Papandayan of the PENRO, Salma Jayne A. Tamano of the PIO, and documenters Norlaiza Maunte, Mariam Hadji Malik, and Arham Monacala.
