March 13, 2025 โ Following last yearโs 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC), the Provincial Gender and Development (PGAD) Office continues its mission to equip police stations across Lanao del Sur with essential resources for their ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐๐ง ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ก๐ข๐ฅ๐๐ซ๐๐ง ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ญ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐๐ฌ๐ค๐ฌ (๐๐๐๐).
Led by ๐๐ฌ. ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐๐ก ๐. ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฆ๐๐ง, GAD Focal Person, alongside ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ฌ๐ง๐๐ข๐ซ๐๐ก ๐. ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฆ๐๐ง and team, PGAD visited the ๐๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ข๐๐ซ๐๐ง, ๐๐ข๐๐ ๐๐ฉ๐จ, ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ฐ๐ข ๐๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ Police Stations to provide necessary equipment for their Women and Children Protection Desks (WCPD) in handling VAWC cases. This ongoing initiative ensures that every municipality in Lanao del Sur is equipped to provide protection and support for women and children.
During the visit, PGAD had the honor of meeting ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐จ๐๐๐ซ๐ญ ๐. ๐๐๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐๐ง, Police Director of Lanao del Sur, while he was visiting Piagapo Municipal Police Station. Through this sustained effort, PGAD reaffirms its commitment to strengthening local responses to VAWC and ensuring safer communities for all.
